Our hotel with its spacious jetty is idyllically situated directly on Lake Turrach and offers the perfect location for a relaxed evening in a marvellous setting to get into the wedding mood.

Friday

Our location here is so magical that at least the core of the wedding party usually arrives on Friday. A cosy get-together on our jetty with a barbecue is perfect and makes the first evening unforgettable.

Saturday

The rest of the wedding party arrives and meets for a welcome drink at the hotel bar. Afterwards, everyone freshens up and enjoys an aperitif on the jetty, where the civil wedding ceremony takes place, as well as the congratulations, aperitif and photos in the romantic, idyllic setting.

Alternatively, a 20-minute walk together to our hut, the Sonnalm, where the civil wedding ceremony takes place against the picturesque backdrop of the Schwarzsee. Followed by an aperitif and cutting of the wedding cake at the Sonnalm before walking back to the hotel.

The church wedding ceremony takes place in St Christopher's Church directly opposite the Seehotel Jägerwirt on the other side of the lake. Afterwards, the groom rows the bride back to the jetty in our rowing boat, the Zille, where the newlyweds are welcomed by the wedding party. In winter you can enjoy a romantic walk or a carriage ride across the frozen Turracher See.

A champagne reception on the jetty or in the hotel lobby, dinner in the exclusive lakeside parlour with a view of Lake Turrach, course after course a dream!

Now it's time to party! At the hotel bar with dance floor and music.

Sunday

Wedding brunch and cosy finale.

And the best thing is: all the different locations are within walking distance! The bride and groom and their guests don't need a car for the entire three days! If a guest finds the walk difficult, we will of course provide a shuttle service.

Decoration

A beautifully laid table will further enhance your celebration. We are happy to provide you with white table linen, cloth napkins, white taper candles, water glasses, white wine glasses, red wine glasses and bread plates.

There are hardly any limits when it comes to decorating your table. From a simple table setting to an originally designed table, anything is possible as long as space is not restricted and guests can still see each other. Flowers are an important part of the decoration. We work with creative, proven florists from the area, they know our house, have a lot of experience, so whether traditional or classic, you are in good hands.

For medium-sized weddings (30-70 people), we recommend our beautiful Seestube - also super romantic right on the lake.

Larger wedding celebrations

For larger wedding celebrations (70-140 people) you can book the hotel exclusively and then everything is up to you.

Our head chef and our sommelier will be happy to help you put together a menu and advise you in a personal meeting at the Seehotel Jägerwirt.

Putting together a menu requires a certain amount of intuition in order to be able to serve a menu that is adapted to the guests and the season.

When putting together the menu, it is important to consider whether the guests are older or younger and whether they are of different nationalities or religions.

As a general rule, the dishes on the menu are arranged according to flavour intensity. Start with mildly flavoured dishes and build up to stronger flavours. The drinks and wines are also put together in the same way. From light, sparkling wines to full-bodied wines. White wine before red wine and white wine with white meat and fish or red wine with dark meat is the rule, but you can change this to suit your taste.

Menu cards can be laid out per person, or each table (depending on size) receives one or two cards. There are virtually no limits to your creativity when designing the menu cards, but you should bear a few points in mind: no cards that are too large, type and colour of paper, easy to read.

The hotel and the surrounding area offer many opportunities for your photo shoot with a range of unique details and lovingly designed rooms. Unique wedding pictures are created in picturesque natural surroundings, traditional or modern ambience.

We will be happy to advise you and show you and your photographer the best locations to take the perfect pictures.

Whether summer or winter, celebrate a lively party at our hotel bar after the wedding menu. The party starts with the wedding waltz in front of the beautiful backdrop of our Sölker marble in the hotel lobby. Afterwards you can celebrate! We are happy to recommend a DJ for your big celebration.

Of course we will remove all unwanted tables, armchairs and couches, so that the lobby becomes a large dance floor!

Our waiters are available in sufficient numbers to serve your guests everything our menu has to offer. You can choose whether you want to serve the whole menu or just a selection of drinks for your guests. Everything else can also be sent to your guests' rooms.

At midnight, we will provide you with a midnight snack so that you can celebrate into the early hours of the morning. Choose between classics such as chilli con carne and goulash soup (vegan options also available) or let us know your personal preference.
