We are us
Read us. Why we are leaning so far out of the window here and organising a little soul striptease has nothing to do with self-indulgence. We promise. Our little story is simply intended to give you, dear reader, dear future guest, the opportunity to get an idea of us, your hosts and hosts. Or in other words: to give you an idea of who you are getting involved with during your holiday at our Hotel Jägerwirt on the Turracher Höhe. And we promise to keep it short.
Steirerdirndl & Steirerman go Bali
Love has brought the Steirerdirndl and the Steirerman together. No na. Three children, Leander, Louan & Cosma were born out of this happiness. For 17 years we were able to live out and savour our curiosity for the big world, other cultures, adventures beyond the mountains and national borders. In the meantime, Bali became our new centre of life and our home for many years. The island that gave us the ground to set up our own hotel, a surf school, a yoga studio, a vegan restaurant and the first downhill bike park in Southeast Asia. Gathering experiences, exploring new aspects of life, improvising 24/7, rethinking pigeonholes, soaking up cosmopolitanism, strengthening love to the core, encountering life. Finding the jaga and yogini in us, letting the butterflies in our heads celebrate happy holidays. And then? Back to the roots.
Turrach, ****Superior Seehotel Jägerwirt, home
The call of home, the children's longing for the mountains. Our return in 2022, full of red-white-red dreams and plans. The desire not only to take over my parents' hotel (ski hotel, hiking hotel, wellness hotel on the Turracher Höhe - take your pick), but also to reshape the character, the essence, the good spirit of the hotel, to cheerfully model it. And despite everything, to preserve, cherish and nurture the 120-year history of the ****Superior Seehotel Jägerwirt as an opportunity and a source of happiness. To see the "5th generation" as a bright opportunity and not as a heavy rucksack.
Soulmade. For soulmates.
The soulmate relationship between Alex and me - a much stronger glue than a wedding ring could ever be. Superglue, so to speak. What our souls think, feel, learn, live and manifest is what we want our guests to feel in our hotel, in our Seehotel Jägerwirt on the Turrach. With our offer, with our actions, with our existence. We have experienced so much in the last two decades, gained so much experience and have often thought outside the box. We would be delighted to pass a little of this on to you. Hiking, skiing, yoga, chatting, laughing, living, savouring, stopping for a bite to eat, getting to know each other. In the knowledge that you have collected a lot and yet are still at the beginning every day.
